North x Thicc Sauce Stout
Our collaboration with Leeds' Thiccc Sauce! A Mexican mole inspired chocolate and chilli stout. A big dose of chocolate malt, backed up with munich, crystal, mild ale, black, special B and amber malt provide an insanely smooth and rich dark chocolate base. Luca brought his chilli knowledge to the table providing Pasilla, Chipotle, Ancho and Mulato for the brew. We toasted and deseeded 20KG of Pasilla, Chipotle, Ancho and Mulato peppers, soaking them in the stout in our hop canon, sending the beer back into the tank and repeating the process until the spice was nice! We finished off the beer by infusing cacao nibs, vanilla and cinnamon to round it all off and heighten the chocolatey base.
