We had the pleasure of hosting the crew from Yakima Chief Hops at the brewery last month and brewed up a big ol' juicy IPA with some killer hops. We had never had the opportunity to use HBC586 in Cryo format before and we were certainly not dissapointed. Booming notes of mango, guava and lychee from the minute we opened the bag and this translated intot he finished beer. Combined with gooseberry and Sauv Blanc heavy Nelson Sauvin, our selected lot of Citra which is very much a citrus bomb, this is one killer IPA.
